Al-Futtaim Automotive's FAMCO business in Jeddah is looking for a Service Technician for commercial vehicles. The technician carries out preventive maintenance, diagnostics, breakdown repairs and running repairs to manufacturer standards, diagnoses mechanical, electrical and powertrain faults, and repairs clutches, brakes, aggregates and other components. Other duties include using diagnostic tools and special service tools, writing accurate technical reports, following workshop safety and ISO procedures, guiding junior technicians and attending field breakdowns. Requirements: an ITI qualification or equivalent technical certificate and at least 5 years of hands-on experience as a commercial vehicle technician. Knowledge of diesel engines, common rail systems, powertrain, driveline, electrical systems and air conditioning is expected, along with familiarity with OEM repair standards and a commitment to first-time-fix quality.
