GE Vernova is hiring a Welder in Dammam to carry out welding, blending and repair work on gas turbine components according to approved work instructions, process specifications and quality standards. The welder prepares parts, surfaces and welding equipment, and reads work instructions, welding procedures and engineering drawings. They set up and run welding equipment safely, inspect parts before, during and after welding, record process data, flag defects or nonconformances, and support repair and rework. The role also requires following standard work, keeping 5S standards, applying Lean principles and suggesting improvements. Required: a diploma, technical college degree, welding certification or equivalent hands-on experience, plus at least 5 years in welding, repair welding or industrial manufacturing. At least 2 years of welding gas turbine or precision aerospace/industrial parts is desired. No relocation assistance is provided.
