MBRF, a global food company, is hiring a Workshop Mechanical Technician in Jeddah. The technician handles mechanical repair, refurbishment, modification, welding and fabrication for machinery and equipment. They operate machine-shop equipment such as lathes, milling machines, shapers, drill presses, grinders and band saws, and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance. The role also involves reading engineering, P&ID, hydraulic and pneumatic drawings, keeping workshop tools in good condition, and following HSE, GMP, 5S, HACCP and food-safety rules. Requirements: a technical diploma or certificate in a mechanical trade, turning or welding, and at least 3 years of machine-shop, welding and mechanical maintenance experience, preferably in food/FMCG. Candidates need hands-on arc, gas and TIG welding, knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics, and business-level English. Basic SAP is an advantage.
