W Doha in West Bay is looking for an Electrician for its engineering team. The role covers responding to guest repair requests, preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, operating equipment and building shut-offs, keeping maintenance inventory and ordering parts, and troubleshooting hotel mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) systems. Typical tasks include replacing switches and outlets, repairing lamps and guest-room devices, basic plumbing and pump/motor work, light painting and drywall repair, and following lockout/tagout procedures. The jobholder may also act as Engineer on Duty and mentor junior engineers. Preferred: high school diploma with a vocational or technical background and at least 2 years of hotel engineering or maintenance experience. A valid driver's licence and Universal CFC certification are required.
